Lindsay Lohan Upcoming New Movie “Gotti: Three Generations”

Lindsay Lohan upcoming movies one of the new movie officially signed a two-picture deal to play mafia man John Gotti Jr.'s wife, Kim Gotti, in “Gotti: Three Generations”. The New Movie Gotti story like that the mob family that stars John Travolta and Joe Pesci.

Nick Cassavetes has been tapped to direct. But the 24-year-old starlet is happy to chat about her long history with the infamous family.

Gotti: Three Generations will also star actor Joe Pesci as Gotti's close friend Angelo Ruggiero and will be produced by Marc Fiore.

"We're very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films," executive producer Marc Fiore said.

Nick will tell the story of Gotti, the American mobster who became boss of the Gambino crime family and the relationship with his son, John Gotti Jr., who himself rose to head the Gambino and sold the rights to his life story for the film.

Lohan has also agreed to star in another Fiore film, Mob Street, written by Chazz Palminteri. Lohan joins a cast that includes John Travolta as Gotti Sr. and Joe Pesci as Gotti subordinate Angelo Ruggierio. The new movie will shoot in the fall, with an expected release date of late 2012.

Travolta was known as the 'Dapper Don' and also the 'Teflon Don' for his enduring ability to beat federal prosecutors in court.

'I like the glamour he had,' Travolta said. 'He charmed the press, he charmed his family.'

The dark side, Travolta said, included 'the paranoia, the fear, the putting the family at risk.'

Gotti was finally jailed, and died in prison aged 61 in 2002, where he was serving a life sentence for murder, racketeering, extortion and tax evasion.

Fiore has the cooperation of retired mobster John Gotti, Jr., whose character has yet to be cast. His father, the so-called "Teflon Don," died of cancer in 2002 while serving a life term for murder, racketeering, extortion and tax evasion.

Fiore said he hoped to announce a new director next week. Nick Cassavetes, who was originally attached, exited the project earlier this week because of a scheduling conflict.

Shooting is expected to start in October. Fiore said the budget for the self-financed film was $70 million to $80 million. He declined to specify the source of the funds.

New Jersey- and Los Angeles-based Fiore Films previously produced the 2008 DVD "National Lampoon's One, Two, Many," starring former Howard Stern radio sidekick, "Stuttering" John Melendez.

Lohan, 24, is scheduled to appear at a Los Angeles preliminary court hearing on Friday over a jewelry theft charge that will determine if she should stand trial. She could be sent to prison if eventually convicted.
