Wrinkle is a ridge or crease of a surface. Wrinkles can signify wisdom, most people nowadays would rather not have them. Wrinkles are the thin, creased, and sagging skin that is especially noticeable on the face, neck, and hands. It usually refers to folds on fabric or clothes, or on the skin of an organism; the folds are generally random and do not exhibit any repeating pattern. 2) Light skinned people, as they are more prone to sun damage.


3) Heredity

4) Clothing - the lesser the sun exposure, the lesser probability of wrinkling. (caps, long sleeves etc.)

5) Occupation - outdoor profession leads to early wrinkles

Treatment:

- Apply a paste of turmeric powder with sugarcane juice to remove wrinkles and to prevent skin ageing

- Eat lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet. Consume dairy products and take vitamin supplements if your body lacks them.

- Leave metal spoons in the freezer overnight and in the morning keep the back of the spoons on the eyes. It will cure the eye wrinkles and the under eye dark circles.

- Apply juice of green pineapples and apples on the face daily and leave for 10-15 minutes. This is excellent for fine wrinkles as well as cracked skin.

- Cosmetic surgery has made an inroad into wrinkle treatment. A word of caution here - any type of cosmetic surgery whether its botox injections or chemical peels must be performed only by a professional.

- B complex vitamins are the best for skin so the foods like eggs, beef, chicken and whole wheat should be included in the diet in good amounts. Other vitamins like A, C and E act as antioxidant and gives the skin a healthy look. So these vitamins should also be consumed in liberal amounts.

- Zinc and Calcium: Both these minerals help in eradicating pimples. Zinc is found in oysters, turkey, seafood, eggs and milk. Calcium is no doubt good for your bones, but helps in clearing your skin too. Calcium rich foods like skim milk, low-fat cheese and yogurt. These foods not only remove pimples but reduce wrinkles as well.
