Have you ever landed on a web page or blog page only to find lots of content un-related to your search? I have and I cannot believe how hashed up and busy some blogs really are. I guess their concept is "The more stuff on the page, the more they can offer their visitor" It's no wonder visitors get frustrated and go on to other sites.

My favorite term for describing these sites is "Website Spaghetti Content Blogs" They try to offer everything under the sun and serve up lots of advertisements along with everything else. Every now and then a blog comes along with simple un-cluttered content and subjects related to the search term. Wow that's a relief!

The visitor now gets to something relevant without a myriad of other distracting content such as Ad sense Ads and tons of other un-related content.

Relevant article content without all of the other distracting "buttons, Ads, logos," are surely more pleasing to me. What are your thoughts on this subject? Leave me a comment.

My preference is for a simple blog format with articles related to search terms. Pictures alongside the articles serve to rest the eye. A minimum of site related ads with minimal or no Ad sense ads make for a much more pleasing web-page. I don't hesitate to put other authors articles on my web pages if I feel they add to my blog's relevance.

Naturally I have Blog sponser Ads. I only allow ads relevant to my sites content, and I like to use Logo's for these ads, as the logo's break up the all written content of the page.

The duplicate content myth. You can have duplicate content on your website, but you must give credit where credit is due. For example if you post an article from an article site, make sure you include all of the author's information and links at the bottom of the article. When a search engine views or reviews a website, which they do at least every few months, it looks for specific characteristics found in the content of the website landing pages.

So the bottom line is "You can use duplicate content" without penalty. Think about it if Google uses lots of duplicate content, and they do. Do you think they will penalize their own site? Just make sure you follow common sense rules and give proper credits to the content authors.
