For example an information product that helps a person deal with a health problem could be sold regardless of what the economy is doing around them. The benefit of selling this as an information product is you can earn money 24 hours a day online because people will always have health problems.

Basic commodity items are another thing that people will always have to buy. A basic commodity item would be something that is used up and then needed again next month. Food, toilet paper, toothpaste, vitamins, and these sorts of things would be considered basic commodity items.

People will order more on the Internet if they can find a decent price so they can save money on the price of gas. This offers some businesses a chance to make sales every month. This is especially true in rural areas where people have to travel get to a nearest store such as a Wal-Mart which might be 50 to 100 miles away.

Another thing a great Internet business offers is the ability to sell products regardless of how the economy is doing where you live. For example if you sell information products, and live in a rural area in the Midwestern United States, you could be selling them to people that live in Europe where they are not having any financial problems.

By having the whole world to sell to, you help overcome some of the concerns a recession might be causing where you live. Another great thing is you can be open 24 hours a day and always making sales 365 days a year.
