What is the meaning of money to you?

Do you love money? Do you hate money? Do you worship money? What is the meaning of money to you?

Your value of money will determine how rich or poor you will be. Let us look at the meaning of money to different people.

1. Money means power.

Money gives power to the owner.

A rich company is powerful. A company that is cash rich can continue its operations without fear of recession. It is not terrified of the bank foreclosing on its property. It is able to make use of investment opportunities presented by recession for expansion. It is able to buy competitors that are facing cash flow problem.

A rich person is powerful. Many rich people become richer after the economic crisis. They can buy all the distressed assets at unbelievably low price. They are not afraid of foreclosure. They can live in comfort, and enjoy all kind of luxuries regardless of economic situation.

2. Money means freedom

Money means financial freedom. You have the freedom to quit from stressful job. You have the freedom to quit the boring job that sucks the life energy out of you.

Money means freedom to live life the way you want it. When you are rich, you can choose the lifestyle that you want. You can continue to work. You can retire early. You can spend the next two years traveling round the world.

Money means freedom from fear of bankruptcy. The rich people have more assets than debts. Many of them are debt free personally.

3. Money means choices

Money means choices. You can choose to send the children to the best universities in the world. You can choose to enjoy a meal in the most expensive restaurant in town. You have a choice to enjoy life to the fullest without fear of incurring credit card debts.

4. Money means love

Ecclesiastes 10:19 "A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things."

Money means love. You show love by using money to buy things for your loved ones.

Love is the most powerful emotion in this world. Love has to be expressed through money. The word "I love you" is empty if you cannot provide any material support to your loved ones.

You express your love to your family through your wise use of money. You pay for the house, the meals, the medication, and all necessities of life. That is the way you express love. That is the way you use money to show love.
