Mazda has announced that its four-door sports car- RX-8 is now accepting orders through Mazda and Mazda Anfini dealers located in Japan. According to Mazda, sales transactions will commence on said state in mid-October this year.
Mazda RX-8 has been launched to the automotive world in April 2003. Since then, the company is receiving positive feedback from the customers. In view of giving better service and comfort to Mazda cars enthusiasts, an upgrade was made to said car model. The new version of Mazda RX-8 comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission to replace the former 4-speed slushbox.
Upgraded version of Mazda RX-8 assures the delivery of smooth acceleration plus improved noise reduction during high speeds. Aside from that, the 6-port design of its engine, which is 2-ports more that its previous model, augments intake efficiency.
Further, Mazda RX-8 has also added the all-new Active Adapt Shift (AAS) control which improves the pleasure of driving sports car. AAS is responsible for optimizing transmission shift points based on driver input using data from various sensors and vehicle handling. Moreover, AAS contribute to a more relaxing or more rugged driving depending on the driver's preference.
