The lifestyle that we have may often be the cause of the occurrence of some symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. IBS diarrhea is the most common. The foods that we eat and our unhealthy drinking habits often make us experience these symptoms. That is why many individuals often find it very important to have a well-balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Diarrhea is a condition in which patients pass loose watery stools more than three times a day. In acute cases, stools may be extremely watery and may contain mucus. In many cases, the urge to go is so strong that patients may be unable to deny themselves.
Many of you have the notion that the food you eat during diarrhea has to be without any spice therefore absolutely bland but this is not the case. You need to avoid fatty food like lots of butter, fried food and other kinds on the other hand consume a lot of green bananas, apple, rice, soups and vegetables.
Sufferers often define their stools by color. Some complain of yellow stools, green stools and black stools or maybe bloody diarrhea. Yellow diarrhea usually means steatorrhea. This is fatty stool due to fat malabsorption in the small bowel with various causes. Of course, it is also the natural color of breast milk stools in babies too!
Passage of urine is infrequent and is accompanied by a burning sensation. The pulse becomes slow, breathing is rapid, and generally the patient looks pale and emaciated. Do not let this condition continue. Give the following treatment in either mild or severe cases and good results will be obtained.
A temporary loss of bowel control can occur as a result of diarrhea. Regular lack of control may result from an injury to the anal muscles (during childbirth or surgery), or from paralysis or dementia. It can also result from fecal impaction, a condition in which feces become stuck in the bowel.
The Ayurvedic treatment of chronic diarrhea is aimed at providing symptomatic relief and treating the known cause. Infections of the intestinal tract can be treated using medicines like Panchamrut-Parpati, Ras-Parpati and Kutaj-Parpati. Parasitic infections can be treated using Vidang (Embilia ribes).
Diarrhea treatment can be achieved by using Ginger. In cases of diarrhea that were caused by indigestion, fresh or dry ginger has shown to be very useful. Use a piece of dry ginger along with a small crystal of rock salt, a qtr. Tsp. of this powder should be taken with a small piece of jaggery.
The vata type of diarrhea is characterized by abdominal cramping and gas in the abdomen. The stools contain more water and less fecal matter. The pitta type of diarrhea show yellowish stools which have an offensive odor. The kapha type of diarrhea is whitish in color with copious water and little mucus.
A person with diarrhea may experience moderate to severe stomach pain, fever, nausea and vomiting, and frequent thirst. The most dreaded complication of diarrhea would be dehydration, which is why the goal of treatment for diarrhea would be to prevent dehydration.
