"While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." Dorothea Lange

These words ring true every time you read them. A photographer is responsible for drawing the beauty out of a scene, an occasion or a person. A well clicked photograph can either work as the window to the subject's soul or help us conjure images , sights and sounds of the scenery being depicted.

While it's all very well to capture people and their emotions on reel, it is nature that provides the ultimate challenge and the largest scope to a photographer. The sights and sounds of nature provides a photographer with a chance to truly and fully explore his craft. When you are trying to capture the beauty and emotions in a photograph, the emotions can be faked and the beauty can be brushed up. Nature, on the other hand doesn't do anything of this sort. It is right there in all its glory; whether it is the sands of the desert or the pristine water of a river.

Travelling photography gives you a chance to have a look these natural phenomena as well as meet some new people. You can also visit important historical places and capture their photographs for your reminiscences.
