Some think you can never get too much of a good thing, but if any of these signs apply to you, there's a good chance you've had too much coffee. If three or more apply to you, be very concerned. If five or more of these apply to you, it may be too late to keep you from becoming a dreaded coffee addict.

#10 - If the waitress at your favorite diner just leaves multiple pots of coffee at your table, you may have had too much. If all the pots are full of coffee - you know you've had more than enough coffee.

#9 - If your voice is starting to sound like an auctioneer (i.e. really sped up speech - bidder bidder bidder...) you may have had too much coffee. On the bright side, you may be able to start a new career in auctions or as one of those voices that read the legal details on commercials really fast.

#8 - If you pour a cup of coffee, forgetting about your other cup in the living room, you may have had too much coffee already. Wandering around the house late at night, loathe to brew a fresh pot but looking for the cup you lost earlier goes closely with this one.

#7 - If you have a strong urge to paint the walls, vacuum the carpet, rake the leaves and clean the garage - all at once - you may have had too much coffee to drink. Doing all that is a quick way to burn out your body.

#6 - If you're up so late you start seeing a lot of infomercials on television, you may have had too much coffee to drink too late in the evening.

#5 - If you find yourself running in (and winning) long distance marathons as if it's nothing, you may have ingested far too much coffee.

#4 - If you begin to have nightly dreams (no matter how comfy) about coffee, you may take a look at how much coffee you've been drinking lately.

#3 - If a large picture of you proudly hangs in the local donut shop, you may have a slight coffee addiction.

#2 - If you think about coffee more than you think about your friends or family, you may have hit the limit when it comes to coffee consumption.

#1 - If you're counting sheep to get to sleep between sips of coffee and you get anywhere over 100,000 sheep, you may have had too much coffee.

Seriously though, folks, coffee is a great way to highlight your day. As with most things in life, though, coffee is best used in moderation. Think quality of coffee rather than quantity of coffee. I don't know about you, but I'll take a great cup of joe over twn cups of muddy water any day of the week. Before one of these ten things happen to you, make sure you take your coffee with sugar, two creams, and a dash of moderation.
