Tony Lama, the man behind Tony Lama boots was born in 1887 to Italian migrant parents. At the age of 11 he learned the first lesson of the boot industry. After that an uncle trained him and took him to Syracuse, New York where he was taught the boot trade.

Tony Lama then joined the U.S. Cavalry as a cobbler. He afterwards realized the importance of a good boot and then set out to make the best fitting and most comfortable boots. Initially, he just made repairs but over the period of time the quality of his boots spread throughout. Soon, cowboys started joining the cavalrymen and started requesting custom-made boots. That year, Tony Lama, with his one helper made 20 pairs of Tony Lama boots.

Tony Lama concentrated only on quality and in 1930s even Western stores began to ask for his boots. To meet the demands Tony Lama started developing various methods for producing boots in large quantities without sacrificing on quality.

In 1961, almost after 50 years of his first, the company shifted to larger quarters and started manufacturing 750 pairs of boots a day. The man behind these wonderful boots passed away in 1974. His sons and daughters continued with the tradition of making quality boots.

Today, the market still has same quality Tony Lama boots. They are available in various styles and are for both men and women. Some of the popular styles of this brand are:

--> Stars Rust Trinidad
--> Stars Tan Stallion
--> 3R Work Stockman
--> 3R Buckaroos
--> Full Quill Ostrich and more.
