The success of the call center industry of the Philippines, according to many industry experts, was because of the success of their Outsource Call Center services not only in the Philippine market but to almost all countries all over the world.

The Call Center Industry of the Philippines: Humble Beginnings
According to many industry experts, the call center industry of the Philippines started not as a provider of outsource call center services, but as a provider of email response and managing services. Though it wasn’t as popular or as in demand as the call center industry of today, it did became somewhat successful in its own industry.

However, a significant change had happened when a number of these third-party companies have started to offer live answering services to their clients, including customer care and technical support. This started the industry which would eventually become one of the largest industries in the Philippines.

The introduction of new customer relation services sparked a new demand in the Philippines, which led to the significant growth of third-party companies, which was now called as call center companies, to accommodate this rapidly growing demand in the Philippines.

Eventually, a number of new Outsource Call Center services were introduced in the industry which further increased the demand for these services in the Philippines. From the simple order taking and reservation services, to a more sophisticated services such as financial and educational services, the call center industry of the Philippines have steadily grown in the market.

Because of this rapid and healthy growth, many industry experts have recognized the industry as one of the fastest-growing industries in the Philippines, though still not as big as other industries in the Philippines.

Offshore Success and Further Growth of the Industry
However, when a number of foreign investors have seen the potential of this rapidly growing industry, many new call center companies and agencies were established all over the Philippines which are aimed to offer Outsource Call Center services to offshore companies and businesses. Eventually the demand from foreign investors had grown which led to the further growth of the call center industry of the Philippines.

According to many industry experts, it was because of this that the call center industry had grown so much in only less than a decade. The Philippine government had also recognized the industry as the Sunshine Industry of the Philippines because of its massive growth in only a few years.
