The recently released Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 offers a full package of exciting features including a large touch screen user interface, fast internet access, and an impressive 8MP digital camera.

The handset measures 119x63x13mm and weighs just 135 grams. Its light weight and slim profile make it a comfortable phone to hold and use. The screen is impressively large at 4 inches making the touch screen user interface a pleasure to use. Up to 65,000 colours are displayed within the pixel resolution of 480x854 for good quality display of on screen images. A composer allows users to create custom ringtones from scratch. Both a speakerphone and 3.5mm audio jack offer options for hands free communication.

A versatile media player supports most common formats of music and video files, offering a rich multimedia entertainment experience. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 allows users to store a practically unlimited number of entries in the phonebook which also includes the useful photo call feature. 1GB of internal storage is provided in order to store data such as media files. A micro SD slot comes with a pre-installed 8GB memory card, however more storage can be attained by replacing this with a memory card of up to 16 GB.

In order to stay connected on the move, the Xperia X10 utilises a range of connectivity features. Primary means of connecting to networks is via class 10 GPRS and EDGE.
