The Nokia 7020 has only recently been released to the UK market, however it is already been welcomed as a useful addition to the Nokia range. Incorporating two display screens as well as being compact and lightweight, the phone provides an impressive array of functionality enclosed within a stylish casing.

The display screens provided by this handset include both internal and external displays. The external display screen is a monochrome screen that operates at a pixel screen size of 128 x 160 pixels and provides limited information. The internal display screen is a 2.2 inch TFT screen, which operates at a pixel screen size of 240 x 320 pixels and provides the means to display up to 256,000 colours and their variants.

The Nokia 7020 Pink also comes with a speakerphone, for hands-free communications and a 2.5 mm audio Jack as well as the ability to utilise either vibration or ring alert types. For personalisation of the handset, downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones can be used. The phone book allows up to 1000 entries and also provides the photo call facility. The last 20 dialled, received and missed calls are retained within the call records. The phone has an internal memory of 45 MB, with the option to upgrade this up to 16 GB by making use of the integrated microSD card slot.

Class 32 versions of GPRS and EDGE are incorporated within the handset as well as blue tooth and micro-USB connections. SMS, MMS and e-mail functions as well as a WAP 2.0 browser are also included within the package. The phone comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, which operates at 1600 x 1200 pixels and provides effective snapshot capabilities. For those who prefer the alternative of video capture, the handset also provides that capability and records at QVGA quality which is at 30 frames per second.

An MP4/MP3 player and stereo FM radio with RDS provide entertainment, as well as an organiser and voice memo facility. Flash Lite 3.0 and a Windows live messenger feature are also included. An unusual element of this handset is the inclusion of an English-Chinese dictionary.

The Pink Nokia 7020 is one of the available colours, with others being graphite, silver and blue. The handset measures 91 mm x 46 km wide and is 17 mm thick, whilst only being 86 g in weight. It is an impressively stylish handset, with a modicum of functionality, which when taking into account its affordability, makes this a viable option for many.
