The Nokia 5130 Red is a phone which has a distinctive red surround to its casing, hence the reference in the name. It's ergonomically designed to be lightweight and slim and at only 88g and 14.8mm thick it achieves this goal with aplomb. The features of this phone include a built in 2 mega pixel fixed focus camera, which has a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and also provides the means to take video footage at 15 frames per second. Memory storage isn't an issue with up to 16 Gb provided by utilising the microSD (Transflash) slot.

The Nokia 5130 Red can transfer file via blue tooth version 2, which also has A2DP as well as a microUSB port which allows connections to a PC for file transfer or synchronisation. A Voice memo facility provides the means to record voice notes and play them back at a more convenient time.
