If you haven't achieved the MLM success you desire, I encourage you to learn
more about the "MLM funded proposal." Simply put, the "MLM funded proposal" is
a concept of letting your prospects pay for your advertising costs. Let me
explain by using an example.

I once worked for a life insurance company that offered "free estate planning
kits." What the company did was place ads in the newspaper promoting these
"free kits." Prospects would call a 1-800 number to request their own kit.

Several days later a life insurance agent would hand deliver the kit to the
client's house. The agent would review the kit with the client, discuss estate
planning, and evaluate the client's life insurance policy. At the end of the
presentation, the agent would discuss the benefits of additional life insurance.
Although the client was under no obligation to purchase a life insurance policy,
many of the clients did.

If you've ever sold life insurance, you understand how hard it is to prospect
and make appointments. It's even harder to sell policies. By using the "funded
proposal", these barriers are eliminated.

The "Funded Proposal" Worked For the Following Reasons:

#1 You Only Advertise to Your Target Market

#2 No Cold Calling: The Prospects Contact You

#3 You Get More "Targeted" Leads Than You Would If Advertising Your Services

In this example, the "estate planning kits" were free for the clients. But, the
insurance agents purchased the leads from the business owner. The business owner
sold the leads at a price which offset his advertising costs. Therefore, his
advertising costs were zero and his agency and agents both made more money.
It was a win-win deal for him and the agents.

I know you could use the same concept in your MLM business.

Let me start by telling you that most network marketers fail. Our industry has
a huge turnover rate. Don't be alarmed though; most businesses fail. This
happens because most network marketers don't know how to market, advertise or
sell properly. And, they don't have their own "MLM funded proposal."

I'm trying to fix that. Let me show you how you can succeed in MLM.

Instead of advertising your business opportunity on the internet and in
newspapers, you should advertise your company's product or a generic MLM
training product, such as an eBook or training course.

The reason for doing this is two-fold. Number One, you only want to advertise
to your target market. Your target market is current network marketers, former
network marketers and people looking to get involved in the industry. Number Two,
you need to differentiate yourself from your competitors. Let's face it. Your
company probably has 100,000 or more distributors promoting the same opportunity
and same company replicated website. The competition is fierce.

It's a proven fact that most people spend themselves out of this industry in 90
days. A "typical" distributor follows their upline's advice to advertise their
business opportunity.

For example, the new distributor spends $1,000 on advertising to generate 250
leads. Out of those 250 leads, 5 people join their business. Since they only get
$100 per signup, they LOSE $500 their first month. But, their upline tells them
to do it again the next month, so they do it again the next month.

The same thing happens again. They're stumped. They don't know why they're
losing so much money, even though they're doing what they've been taught. So
they quit. They tell their friends and family they were ripped off. Or, they
join a different company thinking that is the solution.

Successful networkers do things differently. They use a "MLM funded proposal"
instead of promoting their business opportunity. Here's how you could start
using your own "MLM funded proposal."

Let's assume your monthly advertising budget is $1,000. If yours is less, don't
worry. The dollar amount really doesn't matter much.

You find a good eBook that pays you $20 in affiliate commissions. The eBook
covers "How to Sponsor More MLM Reps Fast." You place a few ads online and in
newspapers promoting the eBook.

Let's suppose your $1,000 generates 250 leads. Of that 250 leads, 25 purchase
your eBook. You earn $20 in profit per eBook. And, of the 25 people who purchase
your ebook, 5 join your primary business opportunity on the back end.

In other words, you approach the people who purchased your eBook about your
business opportunity, AFTER they purchase the eBook. This is called "back end"
sales. Of those five people that joined, you earned $100 per person, for a total
of $500.

In the example above, you earned $500 from eBook sales and $500 from new
distributor signups. Simply put, you got your $1,000 back. And, you will earn
a residual from your new distributors.

If you can advertise and sign up new distributors, without it costing you
anything you will achieve MLM success. I'd gladly spend $1,000 in advertising
to get new customers that generated $1,000 in profit immediately. That's a wash.
Once you can effectively do this, all you need to do is increase your
advertising budget.
