In his revolutionary book "Stacked Income" author and entrepreneur Dave Gray outlines in the simplest and most straight-forward manner the process of creating an ongoing and ever-increasing source of income.
When I first read Mr. Gray's book I was actually very impressed at the ingenuity of his approach to helping others experience financial success. The ingredients in his recipe for online success are not your every day listing of things most commonly offered by self-described marketing gurus to unsuspecting and cash-strapped network and multi-level-markerters.
In fact, the main ingredient is probably the most unusual component of Mr. Gray's self-help stew. From every angle I've viewed him, the man is marked first and foremost by selflessness. His commitment to helping others comes through clearly in his words. His words are backed up and given credibility by his actions.
An excerpt from the book reads…
"Why did I spend thousands of dollars of my own money and years of my time to bring the concept of Stacked Income to the Internet? Why did I create AdSpaces to be the world's first example of Smart Advertising? Why do I let you keep 100% of the sales price while I pay all the expenses? (That's right, no admin fees!) Why did I design OnlineBusinessAlliance to include everything you need to get your business up and running, and then give it to you with the purchase of a $5 ebook?"
That is not a rhetorical question. Mr. Gray answers it with…
"OnlineBusinessAlliance and Stacked Income and AdSpaces and Smart
Advertising were all developed as a result of my goal to provide a way for YOU
to achieve financial independence and personal freedom by building a business
of your own that you can operate on the Internet from the comfort of your home
or anywhere else you might happen to be."
The entire approach that Mr. Gray uses proves his assertion beyond question. He does in fact allow a person to get started with their own home-based business for the incredibly small sum of $5. That's less than the cost of a burger combo at a drive-thru restaurant.
And the way that Mr. Gray has structured the AdSpaces and Smart Advertising features of the Online Business Alliance is nothing short of pure genius. When I initially encountered this concept it reminded me of a practice from the frontier days used by those who traversed long stretches of territory where water was scarce and ever so precious.
Some who had gone before had dug wells and installed hand-operated pumps. Those coming later would be most thankful to find the wells after long hard miles of hot dry desert. But the wells were of no use if there wasn't any primer available. It was the custom of each individual or group to leave a canteen of water for the next visitor to the well. The water in the canteen was used to "prime" the pump and make the life-saving water pour forth to cool and comfort weary travelers.
The very first thing each visitor did after getting the water to flow was to refill the canteen for the next visitor to the well. That way each person in need of water would have an easier task before them.
This, in a way, is what Mr. Gray has done with the Online Business Alliance. He has "primed the pump" and made it oh so easy for those who come after him.
It is a sad but true fact that in the online world there are countless travelers who are more than willing to abscond with all the water they need, and in some cases far more than they need, while leaving all who follow them high and dry.
In the frontier days it was considered a major "stinkeroo" to leave a well without a canteen of primer. Thanks to Mr. Gray we can all avoid the "stinkers", bypass the barren deserts and follow his path to online oases.
