Every mobile phone fan is certainly very familiar with the concept of Cyber Shot from Sony Ericsson Group. The Sony Ericsson C510 is equipped with a shortcut button to get easier photography activities. On the right body for example, it is a SHUTTER button and zooming which also functions as the volume keys. When the camera mode gets active, the keypad will be the key control functions into the camera automatically. Dimension ordinary course, and the materials used are made of plastic.

It features 2.2 inch TFT display, 262k colors, and QVGA resolution. Sony Ericsson uses a special anti-scratch glass to protect the surface. Unlike the W960 and the Xperia X1, Sony Ericsson C510 only move with the firmware-based Java MIDP 2.0.

Although not like C905 camera that uses 8 Mpix, the C510 doesn't miss autofocus, face detection, LED flash and geotagging. But compared to the xenon light on the Sony Ericsson K810i, the LED flash is no rival. One thing that's interesting is the C510 Cyber Shot phone is the first Sony Ericsson to adopt digital camera technology, namely through the features SHUTTER smile. With this technology you can take photos of objects through smile detection. Geo-Tagging photos are also available on the C510. However, they are unlike the ability of the Nokia N78 and other Sony Ericsson's handsets. Besides, C510 camera also can be used to store video. The format is to use the MP4 format with a maximum resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Drawback is the lack of 3.5mm headphone jack.

As in the C702 and C902, the Sony Ericsson C510 supports 3G and HSDPA network, which allow a speed ability up to 3.2 Mbps to access the data - fast and stable enough to open a website page, supporting fast audio and video downloads and browsing, video calling, and many other Sony Ericsson online based applications.

Although it is no more than a budget device in the Cyber Shot family, the C510 has the same interface with the Walkman series. Temporary storage space for files can be in the internal memory capacity of 100 MB card or Memory Stick Micro.

Compared with the C702, C902 and C905 the Sony Ericsson C510, a middle class Cyber shot phone, doesn't have Wi-Fi technology. Only Bluetooth and cable data standard Sony Ericsson are supported. But for a matter of ability, both media can connect this to work properly.
