Part of search engine optimization or SEO is keyword optimization. We optimize our keywords for our website because these words or phrases are the ones that will link us to our customers or target audience. By typing these keywords in the search box of popular search engines, customers are able to find us, our website and of course, our business or work from home. That can only happen if we rank high enough at the search engine ranking for them to even notice our URL. This is the reason behind marketers' constant efforts of doing SEO and keyword optimization.
Just like what most people say, they all start somewhere. With keyword optimization, it starts with the web page content and for it to be even called a content, it has to be 250-300 words or more. Anything less will be deemed insufficient. Therefore, before you even worry about keyword stuffing, keyword density, keyword popularity and other stuff like that, you need to come up first with a decent content.
Speaking of keyword stuffing, if you haven't heard of it yet, it's a process wherein more than enough keywords are being thrown in an article or content, so much as the said content is now incomprehensible and looks like just a pile of words and phrases and nothing more. You have to remember that a quality content is not only achieved through writing enough words, but you also have to make sure those words, when used and put together, do makes sense.
Now, as you come up with a great content for your work from home, you should take note of some tips, ideas and instructions on how to effectively optimize your keywords. Remember, those phrases or words should be relevant to the topic of your content and your niche as well. Spread around five of those keywords all over your content or article. Start putting one in the first paragraph, reserve another for the last and place the other three in the middle of the content body.
At times, use long-tail keywords in your content. Although only a few people may search for it, the competition for those types of keywords is quite minimal. That gives you a chance to rank higher based on those long-tail keywords alone. Another chance for a good keyword optimization for your work form home is through meta tags. Make sure that you properly place your targeted keywords in your header tags, title tags, description tags, keyword tags and of course, image tags.
If you need to use some tools and resources like those keyword suggestion tools, keyword trackers, keyword density checkers, keyword analysis and similar stuff, you can find a lot of them online. One huge example is the famous Google Adwords Keyword Tool. Most of these online resources are free and that's what's great about the Internet. It seems to never run out of useful things. Aside from those great tools, you can also find other helpful tips and articles pertaining to keyword optimization, how the said process works and how significant it is to one's work from home. You just have to search for it online.
