The Razor Electric Pocket Rocket is a miniature electric motorcycle for the youngest of motorcycle enthusiasts. It is a single speed chain driven electric mini bike that can reach speeds of up to 15 miles per hour.
From initial testing, the Razor Electric Pocket Rocket mini bike is a great starter bike for young children. The manufacturer's recommended age for this product is age 13 and up, but I have heard of children as young as 5 years old safely enjoying this bike. It is ultimately up to you to use your own discretion though.
The Razor Electric Pocket Rocket mini bike comes equipped with a 24 volt sealed lead acid battery system.
This enables it to run for 30 minutes of continuous use before needing recharged. The approximate battery charge time is around 12 hours to a full charge.
The manual says that it only supports riders up to 170 pounds. Call me a big kid, but I weigh around 215 pounds and have ridden this little power horse around the neighborhood with no problems at all. It just looked so fun that I couldn't resist!
It turned out to be even more fun than it looked!
A word to the wise though. Safety gear is an absolute must for this tiny power horse. 15 miles per hour doesn't sound very fast, but when you get on and max out the speed, it feels as if you are going much faster. Safety first!
