Imagine how life for a driver would be without any mirrors to reflect areas of the road that he cannot see with his bare eyes. Mirrors are attached as important safety auto parts to all modes of transport, from big buses and trucks to passenger vehicles and even motorbikes. A vehicle benefits greatly from having mirrors. A Kia Rondo usually has three basic mirrors—one rear view mirror and two side mirrors. The rear view mirror is a smooth and flat surface that expands the driver's field of view. Attached to the windshield of a car, the rear view mirror has a swivel mount that allows the driver to adjust the mirror at different angles. Because side mirrors are convex, the driver must observe caution when looking through it as objects may appear closer than they really are. When the side mirrors are obscured with the heavy downpour, the rear view mirror aid the driver instead.

Because they are located at a car's interior, rear view mirrors are shielded against the elements from outside. Side mirrors, due to their location, are subject to breakage and scratches. Detection of damage in the Kia Rondo mirror must be done immediately to prevent collisions due to the driver's poor vision of the road. Major cracks, scratches, and breakage are signs that the Kia Rondo mirror should be replaced as soon as possible.
