Does today's global financial crisis have you swirling in negativity? Does the latest news leave you feeling overwhelmed by chaos, conflict, confusion?
You don't have to succumb to worry and stress. You can choose to see this situation in an entirely different way that infuses your life with spark and possibility.

Change is part of life. Hardships happen, then pass. Throughout history, people have overcome huge obstacles and turned their lives around. They've opened to new possibilities, ventured out of their comfort zones, and accomplished the unimaginable. You can do the same.
Let's say you're worried about job security. How about starting that new business you've dreamt of? Most people would say this is a crazy time to start a new business. Yet when times are tight, people look for new ideas and solutions to their challenges. If your vision can help address those challenges, then it's time to take action.

For example, during the height of the Internet bubble with lots of money flying around, our colleague Mai Vu started a new leadership coaching company. Yet contrary to popular belief that it's easier to start a business in a booming economy, the company struggled because prospective clients were too busy tending their already thriving organizations.
With the dot-com crash, business suddenly flourished, most surprisingly in Europe. Clearly tough times bring a need for innovative new ideas and if you're willing to respond to opportunities when and where they arise, you can thrive in the most difficult of situations.
So rather than giving in to fear and negativity, consider instead that this is actually an incredible time to summon your passion, creativity, vision, and drive. Claim this challenging time for the opportunity it is!
To move from "here" to "there", follow these three important steps:
1. Turn down the external noise. Limit your exposure to negative news.
2. Turn up your internal flame. Renew yourself with activities like inspirational reading, meditation, yoga, exercise, prayer, etc.

3. Surround yourself with support. Hang out with inspiring people, talk about positive things, share your vision with forward-thinking friends, and focus on what you're grateful for.
Lastly, consider what life coaching can do for you. Coaching gives you personalized support, structure, and accountability to help you unlock your full potential and take advantage of the opportunities this current economic downturn provides.
The world is in desperate need of transformation. It needs you to connect to your true self, open to the limitless possibilities it offers, and create the change you want to see. The world is waiting for what only you can bring!
