The exceptionally talented Rock group Tool have released their CD entitled Opiate. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Tool fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Opiate their artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be their best work to date.

I wish it weren't the case but, it's not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can't force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Opiate. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Tool is one of those groups that have the ability to just bowl you over with their collective talent. The kind of musicians it's really a treat to be able to listen to.

If you're a Tool fan this is a CD your collection flat cannot be without. In fact, this is one of those CDs that you don't even have to be a fan of lname, or even Rock to know is good. It's just good music. Period.

While the entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 3 - Part Of Me, track 4 - Cold And Ugly, and track 6 - Opiate

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Sweat. Outstanding!
