Have you ever wondered about those wonderful dishes that they serve in restaurants? How they manage to taste the way they do, smell the way they do, look the way they do? Of course, some may argue that they have "secret ingredients" or that the cooks or chefs that were preparing the meals were specially-trained for this kind of thing. But what of the adage "anyone can cook"? There ARE some people out there who, when given the chance, can actually make food that is just as good as the food that they serve in restaurants. All they need is a chance to be able to do so, which is why there are many who are thankful for the fact that there are restaurant recipes that are made available for them in the world. They may come in the form of recipes in magazines. They may be found in cook books. Heck, they may even be floating around in the internet. All one needs to do is to find them, get a hold of them, and start cooking.
It is interesting to note that there are some restaurants who are more than willing to share their restaurant recipes with the public - their restaurants may have closed down because they had a bad location and not enough customers, or they may still be open but are confident enough in the uniqueness of their dish that anyone trying to use their recipe for profit would immediately get caught. Either way, they allow people to have a go at their recipes so that they could impress their friends and family. There are instances, however, wherein individuals of a certain talent manage to "crack the code" and figure out the recipes for some of the branded restaurant recipes that aren't available to the public. These renegades tend to share their discoveries with the public for free, as their satisfaction comes from overcoming the challenge on their own. There is no way of telling if these restaurant recipes that they have cracked are exactly the same as that restaurant's recipe, but they tend to definitely look, taste, and smell like the real deal.
Whether the restaurant recipes that you find are official are unofficial is immaterial. All that matters is that one gets the chance to make restaurant-level meals.
