The magical tour into the world of witches and wizards is about to be experienced this summer with the release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The movie is sure to top all the charts this season and has been predicted to be a great thriller and action film.

The movie has been directed by David Yates and some of the world's best production houses, the Warner brothers have produced it. All the movies of the Harry Potter series have been directed by many versatile directors and have been produced by the Warner brothers. The production of the movie was a complicated task as with different locations, various complications occurred while shooting a fiction film.

The various components of the production include the background music, which has been given by Nicholas Hooper. He has even composed Hedwig's theme and the background music of the official website. Although the movie doesn't have an official album but the background music in all the series has been very captivating and mysterious suiting aptly to the scenes.

Jenny Temime has done the costumes. The pristine uniforms and swirling robes of the characters provide a marvelous match to the storyline and theme of the story. Tim Burke has given the visual effects, while Nick Dudman has given the makeup effects. The special effects of the movie are the most important part in the Harry Potter series as the whole movie is fiction based and requires a great deal of special effects, John Richard has given these effects to the movie.

The preparation of the sets was also a precarious task and Stuart Craig, the production designer of all the Harry Potter series has done a great job. The most complex and time consuming part was designing the astronomy tower and the cave. These are the two locations where the climax of the movie takes place. These have been designed with special care.

There are some new sets also included in the movie like the orphanage of Tom Riddle and the sets of Slughorn's village. The film has used CGI sets, and the interior of the cave giving the glass effect is a marvellous work taken from computerisation. Glaze bricks have been used for the orphanage as well to give it a hard look. The sets have been inspired by the Victorian-Georgian architecture style.

As far as the other sets and production is concerned, Bruno Delbonnel is the film's cinematographer who has won various academy awards. The most interesting part of the movie is the visual effects. Tim Burke and Tim Alexander to study the effects created the fire and flames, which are in the last scenes of the movie, after a great deal of research on molten volcanoes. Propane was sprayed, which although gives a lot of heat but has no actual flames.

Overall, the movie is necessary to watch and the whole production team to make this movie has done a great deal of effort.

The release date for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is 15th July 2009.
