If you have a close friend or family member who is expecting and you want to throw a baby shower for them, here are some great hints that could be quite helpful to you.
You need to first make a list and organize it, if a little help is in order then try to contact the parents of the mom to be. When the guest list is completed you will have an idea of how many guests will be attending. Making it easier to have a good estimate of how much food, drink, and party favors are needed.
Check out the Internet for many games that can be played, the lists are endless. They are simple games that can be played using common household items. When those games are played they tend to put everybody in the baby shower mood. My favourite game is to have the guests guess how many toilet paper squares the tummy of the mom to be is. Outcomes from this game will surprise you. Everybody like to play the baby shower games, people will start talking to each other and they help people get into the baby shower mood.
The big event at the baby shower is when the expecting mom opens the gifts for the baby. Every woman loves to watch because it is so exciting being able to view all of the tiny outfits and baby items. These generous gifts help the expecting mom with the first couple months of the baby's life, anybody who has children knows how much of an expense it is. If nobody knows of the baby's sex yet then be sure to request to the guests to give gifts that are unisex, but if the sex of the baby is known them it makes everything so much easier. Another great idea is to get the mom to be to register at online stores and some retail stores. This can make life a lot easier for many guests.
