Increase Website Traffic through MySpace: 3 Tips That Work
By: Jarom Adair | Posted: 05th June 2009
If you are interested in gaining more exposure for your company, here are some strategies that will bring you waves of new site visitors and customers for your company through MySpace. With these internet marketing strategies you can increase website traffic and generate substantial visitors for your company site.
Add MySpace friends
Visit MySpace, a huge social networking site, and you'll find many people there who are part of your target market. As you meet people who may be interested in what your company offers, you can add them as a "friend". At this point you are able to have open communication with them and you are free to find out if they're interested in what you offer. Because MySpace is a social networking site, be sure to get to know people before pitching your company. If you show interest in others then they will show interest in you.
Find customers through MySpace groups
There are many groups that MySpace members have formed around many different topics. If you can find a group that caters to your target market, you have a way to contact hundreds of potential customers. Finding a group full of your potential customers is easy--simply join MySpace and use the search feature to find groups related to a topic that interests your target market (if you cater to small business owners, type in "small business owners" and see what kind of groups pop up).
Create a MySpace group
As you meet people who may be interested in what your company offers, you can add them as a "friend". Once you have many friends who are part of your target market (I'd recommend at least 1,000) you can start a group and invite them to join. Offer them some sort of incentive to join your group, and once they're a part of it you can send them messages about your company and other things they may be interested in.
With a little effort these things will produce a continual flow of targeted traffic for your website. All it takes is a little time to put these things into place, and then they become great assets to your company for you to use over and over again (and it's more fun than cold calling).
