The affiliate marketing is selling other people's product online.You can sell physical products ,you can sell products on Wal-Mart or any other big retail store.All they have an affiliate program.And you can sell anything and you can get percentage of that sale.But I recommend that you might as well sell digital products. Because in selling physical goods,there is a small margin of profit. But the profit of digital goods is tremendous. About 90% in many cases. So there is a lot more money there to split out. By far,the best product to be selling as an affiliate is information product.
Someone says affiliate marketing is easier than creating ans selling own product because they don't need to mess with all the "customer service" chores and all the additional "headahces".But it's not an easy game at all. It's probably more difficult all the time. Because they think it's easier than creating own product,so many people jump into that and there are too many competitors. Just look around Google how many other guys are selling the same product with customized, eye-popping website.I am not saying that good-looking website is essential to be a successful marketer but you must have an elaborate plan to compete with them.
The affilate game is dominated by the ones who know how to generate traffic.It's not about picking the right product or setting the nice-looking website.It's about traffic.The ugly-looking website with traffic is more productive than the nice-looking website without traffic.You have to do your best to get and increase traffic to your website. If you successfully get traffic to your website ,you are very close to success in affiliate business.
