Giving Your Heart To God

Sometimes we need to get really physically involved with the work of God to touch his heart. Money though needed in the ministry can make the whole giving process very distant and just a routine. God called us to be followers of Christ so as we can carry on the legacy Jesus left here on earth. This was being physically involved in changing people's lives where they were. God is more concerned with our attitude towards the poor and needy in the society than our need for a financial breakthrough.

He will give you all the money you need or ever desired if he is only assured that you will use it to reach out to the underprivileged in the world. If you check out the current events in Africa, people are dying from starvation. Children are dying every day from malnutrition related illnesses. Mothers sit down and watch their children die. As Christians, what are we doing. Surely there is something all of us can do to change the lives of those in need.

Sometimes what these people need is not only the food sent to them but a hug and an assuring smile. Change the life of a family or an individual by making them a part of your family. Let them know that God loves them just as much as he loves you. Hold their hand in their treacherous journey through the wilderness. This will give you a lot of joy too. It will also open for you windows of blessings and those mountains that stood over you will start melting down.
