Men need more health care

Over a third of American men have not required any kind of medical care last year, revealed a recent study. The same study concluded that around nine million men living in US have not visited a doctor in the last five years.

If you think men do not need health care, you are in deep mistake, because they just ignore their health situation. It is well-known that men have less healthy lifestyle. Men smoke and drink more than women do, they are fascinated by fearless, dangerous, risky behaviors. So, they suffer more complications from certain diseases.

But the most dangerous thing is society itself ignore their situation. According to a men's health group research, for every £1 spent on men's health, £8 is spent on women's health. There is a big difference in the resources allocated to breast cancer and prostate cancer. It is also a fact that breast cancer is much better resourced than men's cancers, despite of fact prostate cancer kills around 10,000 men a year.

Do not think I join men's interest and I want a piece of women's pie for my fellows. I just want equal opportunities for men and their health care. There is one significant reason society must allocate more money and attention for men information and their health care: children need both parents to be happy.
