Chinese New Year is coming, let us be involved and experience the fantastic moments of this festival !!!
For every beginning of the year, my master who happens to be from a Chinese family are always going out and coming home with lots of stuff and they will hang them inside and outside of the home. I know they are busy preparing for the coming festive session. When this day comes, everyone who walks into the house will say Kiong Hee Huat Chai and the shorter humans will receive something red. We can hear them whispering..ang pow....kui lui(means how much $$) They sure look very happy to receive it.
We puppies dont find it interesting at all. But last year in 2008, we puppies have a new discovery. We were given the red packet too.We tear the red packet with our teeth and found lots of treats inside the red packet. No wonder the small humans are so excited with this red packet.
This year, we puppies are all set and geared up for this red packet. We have been trained for the occassion too. And we sure learn them fast. My master will say kiong hee... kiong hee... and we will stand up right, clasped our paw together and move up and down up and down. Then these humans will burst out laughing so loud and eventually give us the red packet. We are dressed in bright colourful dresses. As for me, I had a red dress and my sister in blue. Everyone are busy figuring out what are their lucky colours to wear on the 1st day of the Chinese New Year.
All pet masters, make your this year's festive session special. Create a closer bond with your dogs. Dress them with pretty accessories like hair clips, shoes, clothes. Oh talking about clothes, remember to get them with lots of pockets so we can put our ang pow inside. If the clothes you buy do not have pockets, get us backpack. For us to keep our ang pow.
