After working hard day and night to product the main product, sales letters, bonus offers and backends, its time to cash in by having a crazy big launch. But what must be done to ensure we maximize profits from this launch? This article will show you 7 things you must do for a successful big launch.
A big mistake a lot of unsuccessful marketers do is launch by banking on their existing list. Don't do that. Simply because it's not enough! If we want to maximize on profits, leverage on every single weapon in the arsenal.
Step 1: Recruit JV partners. If you're in the internet marketing niche, cool. You'll find many willing partners. Send them a kind email, ask them nicely and explain how your launch works and whats in it for them. If you're in a micro, laser-targeted niche, search up potential JV partners using google (people who target the same keywords as you!) and then use Quantcast to see if they are suitable partners. Quantcast allows you to gauge the number of visitors they have and whether they are selling info products (how-to products) like you.
Step 2: Recruit affiliates. If these snobby internet marketers refuse to JV with you, kindly ask them to be your affiliate. Besides promoting the launch to your list, you can also recruit them to be your affiliates. Remember, leverage! Clickbank is a good service to manage your affiliates if you don't have your own affiliate manager.
Step 3: Do a pre-launch. You want to create as much hype as possible before the launch. You can do that by giving away a lot of free stuff and asking your list, partners, affiliates to spread the news about it. Take this opportunity to really connect with your prospects. Create videos, provide lots of free value, have a chat with them, whatever it takes.
Step 4: Empower your affiliates/JV partners. Prepare a list of promotional materials such as articles, email templates, banner ads, easy-to-make affiliate links and tell them about it. The easier you make it for them to promote, the more money you will get.
Step 5: Spread the word about it. Get involved in forums (as a third party if you're new) or if you've already established an influence in the forums, just tell them about it and invite others to join. Get active in twitter, facebook and other social media sites.
Step 6: Make sure your payment processors can support the large influx of sales that are coming in. Find out about the limits of your payment processor and have other payment options if necessary.
Step 7: Be a good paymaster. Nobody likes being paid late for the hard work they put in. Give your partners a deadline and make sure you meet those deadlines.
