
Losing Weight Safely and Successfully With alli

The results of two important studies on weight loss were presented in Hong Kong at the First International Congress on Abdominal Obesity in early 2010. These studies demonstrate that alli, the only weight loss supplement approved by the FDA, effectively helps obese people not only lose weight in conjunction with a lower calorie, lower fat diet, but has positive health benefits as well.
The Positive Health Benefits of alli
Two studies in particular, the Visceral Fat Imaging Study and the Visceral Fat Multi-Center Study, show that alli is not only an effective weight loss supplement, but could decrease the risk of developing type II diabetes, heart disease, stroke and hypertension. Since alli has also proved to help promote weight loss by 50 percent, these added health benefits are a surprising bonus.
Another weight loss bonus for those using alli is that it keeps your body from absorbing up to 25 percent of fat from food and drink.
Visceral fat is naturally present in the body and surrounds the vital organs in the stomach, but if visceral fat is allowed to increase, it becomes dangerous. Overweight and obese people tend to have a build-up of visceral fat, which can lead to a decrease in organ function and put these people in a higher risk group for potentially-fatal diseases.

Visceral Fat Imaging Study
This study lasted three months and involved 26 overweight volunteers. The Visceral Fat Imaging Study was conducted at the Clinical Imaging Centre at the Hammersmith Hospital in the UK, which is the largest imaging center in Europe. The Visceral Fat Imaging Study demonstrated the positive changes that took place inside the body by giving the participants MRIs.
The participants took alli three times every day and observed a diet low in fat and calories, resulting in a smaller waistline by an average of 2 inches. These participants lost 10.6 percent visceral fat and 5.6 percent of their body weight as a result of combining a low calorie, low fat diet with alli.
Visceral Fat Multi-Center Study
This study lasted six months and compared the weight loss and visceral fat loss of obese volunteers who supplemented a low fat, low calorie diet with alli with obese participants who only adhered to a diet low in fat and calories. The final results of the 123 participants, some of which took a placebo and others who took alli, proved that the addition of alli greatly affected their weight loss and visceral fat loss.
It was also determined that alli was safe to take several times a day to achieve weight loss, and the results prove that alli not only makes a difference, but could potentially reduce weight-related diseases in people who use it correctly.
