Best Flight Simulator on the Market

There are many different things to consider when trying to determine which is the best flight simulator game on the market, some major, some minor, but all of them important as a part of the entire flight sim experience. To make this analysis easier to digest, I'm breaking it down into a few different categories.
Difficulty - You can't really determine the best flight simulator based on its difficulty, but let's try. Difficulty in and of itself is difficult (pardon the pun) to judge, as more or less difficult will be appealing to different people, and difficulty will also vary based on the skill and experience level of the player. So in terms of straight difficulty, I won't pass judgement on any game.There is one game that stands above the others in this category though, and that game is Flight Pro Sim. Why is it better than all the rest you ask? Quite simply, Flight Pro Sim has the greatest degree of adjustable difficulty on the market, making it ideal for players of all skill levels and desired challenge levels. There are a plethora of options which can be tinkered with to make the game more or less complex, as well as the planes themselves featuring varying levels of complexity and challenge. Amidst a sea of games with often strict and unforgiving difficulty, Flight Pro Sim is a welcome breath of fresh air.

Graphics - Graphics is an area that is rarely considered a major factor when it comes to determining the best flight simulator, but which certainly aids in the immersion aspect of the game. For my money, the current leader in graphics is Microsoft's Flight Simulator X. Its small selection of planes and landscapes are lavishly detailed, with sharp textures and brilliant colors.
Flight Pro Sim trails just behind, but is making rapid improvements, and may in fact surpass Flight Simulator X in the very near future, especially impressive given the far greater variety of planes, environments, and airports which are faithfully rendered in the game, in comparison to Flight Simulator X.
Depth - This would be the category which holds the greatest importance for many flight simulator fans when judging which is the best flight simulator, and this category goes to Flight Pro Sim in a rout. Featuring over 100 planes, 20,000 airports, thousands of uniquely rendered landmarks, and much more, Flight Pro Sim is by far the largest flight simulator ever to hit the market. You could literally play the game for months and not experience even close to all that there is to experience. It almost boggles the mind in fact thinking of the amount of effort that went into the development process of this game.
Overall - While not the most attractive game on the market, at least as of the time of this review, Flight Pro Sim undoubtedly has everything else going for it, making it reasonable in my estimation to declare the best flight simulator one can buy at present. The good news for fans of the game is that it will only continue to get better in the years to come, as it continues to receive the loving attention of its devoted developers.
