Mini Excavator

Drains and pipes of all types generally get blocked at some point. They also get worse over time and need maintenance ultimately. Any industry that waits until this happens is not staying ahead of the game, and is therefore not keeping a watch on efficient working practices. This is the reason why regular drain and sewer camera inspection routines are not only mandatory, but essential to maintain safe, consistent and continued operations.

The technology is now so good that the pictures obtained of the interior of pipes and drains are clear enough to simply identify any damage, or maybe any potential future damage, in the interior part of the pipe.

Surveying pipe work in this manner can save a company cash by letting them have first hand understanding of the condition of each inch of their drains and sewers. It can eliminate or at least decrease the kind of unpleasant surprise that typically accompanies an unexpected breakdown.

It is not just large bore drains and sewers that pipe inspection work can be carried out on either. Mini explosion evidence camera systems have been developed that can allow a remote camera to go inside a pipe of just one inch or 25 millimetres internal diameter.

There's a limit to the length of travel that a system can cope with. This is generally around the 300 metre mark from the point of pipe entry. And a new entry point can be established following the first run to permit very long lengths of drain and sewer pipes to be inspected. The camera systems aren't sometimes mindless bots. The more advanced systems can offer clear, pointed full color photos in extraordinarily high resolution. They can also pan and lean to give close up photos of any particular detail, providing a full 360 degree horizontal vision capability.

Drain and sewer camera inspection work has never been less complicated, thanks to modern technology. Now there is not exactly a pipe or drain that can't be inspected internally to save a company money and time from sudden breakdowns.
