Vertical gravity oil separators are multi-plate, cylindrical oil separators that utilize gravity to separate as the mechanism for separating oil from the waste water. As the heavier water sinks to the bottom, the plates encourage coalescence of the oil droplets where they rise to the surface, for collection and disposal. Hunter Alliance offers vertical gravity oil separators with high quality polypropylene conical plate packs in a variety of configurations. These range in size from 50mm to 1200mm and greater. Maximizing performance and minimizing space requirements, units are available in a variety of sizes including: 700, 1500 and 3000 litre per hour capacities.
