I'm a great fan of taking or using natural remedies to help heal my body from the inside out. So I was intrigued to find this novel way of treating infections of the bladder.
Before we mention this remedy and talk further about bladder infection and turmeric, let's just give you a little background on this herb.
It's been used by the ancient Chinese and Indian healers for many centuries, who valued its numerous healing qualities. Its uses were many, from treating wounds, to curing headaches and to detox and cleanse the body.
The herb turmeric is also known to be a powerful antioxidant which is what our bodies use when faced with having to fight infections that attack us. This natural remedy involves using the herb, but one important thing to bear in mind is that it should be used when the infection is at an early stage.
Leave it later and the advice given my many is to proceed with modern prescription medication, as the condition becomes chronic.
Taking the herb can be as simple as sprinkling some turmeric powder into a glass of warm milk. Better still might be taking a supplement which has an extract of the herb.
This will be shown as curcumin and you should choose from someone who produces their own supplements, where quality is paramount and free from any artificial additives.
In cases like bladder infection helping your bodies own immune fighting powers with something like turmeric could just tip the balance in your favor and get you back to optimum health.
