Parent’s Day Celebration

Parent's day is round the corner. In 1994, President Bill Clinton signed into law a resolution adopted by the US Congress to establish the fourth Sunday of every July as Parents' Day. This day is similar to Mother's Day and Father's Day. Parents' Day is celebrating in the United States by Citizens, organizations, federal, state, local governmental and legislative entities are encouraged to recognize Parents' Day through proclamations, activities, and educational efforts to recognize, uplift, and support the role of parents in bringing up their children. From the past parents are playing important for their kids. When we are in childhood, we did not like to interfere of parents. We think that parents are pressurize us on your own rule and regulation, that is what to do, what to read and some times, time of play is also decided by them. In actually parents are those who care the most their child in world, no parents in the world wants to see their children failure. They make their best to make their children life therefore some times they become so hard about their child. From the childhood parents starts to think what should they have to done for bright future of their children?

Those parents who play a better role for their children are nominated and awarded by Parent's day council. Parent's day council celebrates and promotes parent's day through a range of events and activities. Parent's day council honors "parent of the year" at local, state, and national level. Parents' Day promotes the message that the role of the parent is important in human development, which requires investment, focus, and commitment.

Parents' Day is a popular time for people to send cards and gifts, including flowers, cakes, perfume items and food hampers, to those who play an important role as a positive parental figure in their lives. It is also a time for families to come together for lunches or dinners. Special tributes to parental figures who are seen as role models are made through local announcements, at church services, or at local community events. Parents' Day proclamations and rallies have been held in recent times and involved organizations such as the United Civil Rights Councils of America.
