New Year marks the end of the previous year and the onset of the coming year. This day is celebrated all over the world with pomp and splendor. In general, almost all countries abide by the Gregorian calendar and celebrate their New Year on 1st of January. The day starts with balls, grand bashes and parades to welcome the coming year and bid goodbye to the previous.
