The Royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William is one of the most anticipated events of the 2011, and will be taking place on April 29th at Westminster Abbey in London. One question on fashion conscious peoples’ minds is what Kate and William will be wearing for their exciting day.

It has been rumoured that the wedding dress designer may be anyone from veteran designer Bruce Oldfield to Kate Middleton's favourite label Issa, but as the wedding approaches Sarah Burton, creative director of the Alexander McQueen label, is being hotly tipped to be making Kate Middleton's wedding dress. Prince William is expected to wear his Royal Air Force uniform.

The Royal couple have unmatchable appeal, exemplified by how much Kate's sense of style is enjoyed by other women. The blue Issa London dress that Kate Middleton wore at her engagement announcement was rumoured to have sold out shortly after the engagement photos were released. Kate has worn a range of high street fashion styles from Top Shop to French Connection, the £650 Burberry coat that she wore to Belfast in March was also rumoured to have sold out, and more recently the first memorable outfit Prince William saw her in during a University fashion show at St Andrews University in Scotland was bought by a private collector for in excess of £60,000 during an auction. This phenomenon is something that is beginning to be known in the fashion world as the Kate effect.

Apart from the outfits, another aspect of Kate's attire goes very much unnoticed is her nails they are very well groomed, they look refined, and perfectly trim. She tends to wear her nail polish in a noticeably clean and subtle look and her favoured tones range from a pale pink to a neutral colour that doesn't take attention away from her outfits. Kate’s nail style can be described as classy and elegant, streak-free nails. Similar nail polishes are available in the natural and classic manicured style, so to emulate this manicured look use a small tapered brush to get the as it can be used for a more precise application.

Setting the tone for the wedding and providing a glimpse into their personalities, the couple have asked their guests not to give them presents, but instead to make a donation to a charitable fund which will distribute the money to their favourite charities and good causes such as the New Zealand Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.

Nails Inc have created limited edition nail polish to help celebrate the Royal wedding. The 'Will' Union Jack nail polish is based on the Nails Inc bestselling crystal cap, whilst the 'Kate' Sapphire crystal nail polish has been inspired by Kate's stunning engagement ring, and both come in highly presentable bottles.
