My First Post – A Short Introduction

It's difficult to start a story going sometimes. What the heck should I write in my first post of this site? Maybe I can start as following …

… Once upon a time a search engine named google revolutionized the search engine market of the internet. What was so spectacular? They've introduced an algorithm on evaluating the popularity of websites. The so called page rank (PR). Since then webmasters began to optimize their websites with the goal to increase in popularity and page rank to rank high in search results. Search engine optimization was born. Soon it was clear that popularity strongly depends on the number of links linking to your site. Today these so called backlinks are still the number one factor when it comes to page rank high in google or the likes. Though generating backlinks costs time and effort and can become an exhausting business. Especially if you want t push new stes' popularity.

Some different software tools were developed to assist you with this issue. Most of them are very expensive and not really worth the money. An exclusion is Bookmarking Demon which I'd like to dedicate this blog to.
