Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, or MMPR as abbreviated, is an North american Tv and DVD program which has just been released on DVD in North America and Australia.

If you are not accustomed with the Power Rangers, the following is a brief overview. It's about a group of nerdy young adults who were recruited by a big brain called Zordon to be the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The Rangers are as comes after: Tommy (White Ranger and head of the Rangers), Kimberly (Pink Ranger and Tommy's airheaded lover), Billy (Blue Ranger and the group's nerd), Rocky (Red Ranger, an OK guy), Adam (Black Ranger, has low self confidence even though he is cute), and Aisha (Yellow Ranger, the most weak of the rangers). On the Television show, the final three color rangers were Jason (Red), Zach (Black), and Trini (Yellow).

And at this moment, fanatics of this famous tv program can at last, after several years of petitions get Power Rangers on DVD. This DVD consists of each and every epiode of the iconic kids show produced by Bandai in the mid-1990s.

They have to keep their identity a mystery, and they do, even though they wear the identical hues as their ranger color. The rangers have to stop some man who spreads pink ooze all over the place. There is just a single difficulty. Zordon is dying and, as a consequence of this, the rangers drop their forces. So they will go on a journey to find their capabilities. Meanwhile, the purple guy turns everybody wicked with the ooze. They go to this spot and meet up with this chick who has the magic formula to unleashing their capabilities. To make a long and boring story short, they get their forces back -- but with a twist. The last part of this film is the usual cliche: they go back to Angel Grove (the fictional city where this takes place), fight the evil guy, helps Zordon, and everybody's delighted.

The next and third season includes components from the Super Sentai series Gosei Sentai Dairanger and Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, and Zyuranger-costumes were utilized, the five-Dairanger costumes were not utilized at all, then only Kiba Ranger costume was used for the White Power Ranger, then the four characters used in the mini-series Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers. The series was produced by MMPR Productions and distributed by Saban Entertainment.

The tv series is set in the fictional township of Angel Grove, which is situated in The state of california. The series starts with 2 astronauts unintentionally waking up the witch Rita Repulsa whilst they searched around for evidence of life on the moon. Rita then commences to deliver the aliens back to The world with ambitions to take over it. This means that the aged, wise sorcerer Zordon decides to choose the 5 teens who can defend the Planet against Rita's strikes. So he chooses Jason Lee Scott (who is be the Red Ranger), Trini Kwan (will become the Yellow Ranger), Billy Cranston (gets to be the Blue Ranger), Kimberly Hart (Pink Ranger), and Zack Taylor (turns into the Black Ranger) . Eventually in the show Tommy Oliver elected to be the Green Ranger, for a short moment before he manages to lose his powers and is then selected as the White Ranger and the new alpha dog.

In series two, Jason, Trini and Zack and the Rangers move to Switzerland, and will then be exchanged by Rocky De Santos (Red), Aisha Campbell (Yellow) and Adam Park (Black). In series 3, they will get rid of Kimberly (Kat Hillard) as the new Pink Ranger, so that she can go to Florida and become a professional gymnast.

All rangers have a correlation to a dinosaur, so both can alter their costumes a little bit to be like the very dinosaurs they are, they also have affiliated robot (called dinozord) that they can summon when things get too hard. All the robots can also be placed into a large robot (called megazord) that they can sit in.

In 2011, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers DVD was published for a quick time only in North America and European countries. This video box set includes the 1st few seasons of the television show.

1995 had a new film launch, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, which was based mainly on the TV program. The show lasted until 16 February 1996. The idea of "Power Rangers" is still there these days, but has no connection to MMPR anymore, except in the manner that all seasons are established in the same imaginary universe. It is not uncommon to see switch-overs when rangers from a couple of or more seasons come collectively to fight against evil.
