The call center industry of the Philippines is considered as one of the most successful and fast-growing industries in the Philippines. Though it recently faced a major downturn because of global recession, it has started to pick-up its pace in the market, which led to many new positions to open for unemployed Filipinos.

So what are the reasons why the call center industry of the Philippines have grown so much in only less than a decade? Growth of Call Center Industry of the Philippines
The call center industry of the Philippines first started as a mere provider of email response and managing services. Eventually, these services have expanded due to the many new call center companies in the Philippines providing outsourcing services to other companies, such as what Magellan Call Center first started.

But other than its wide variety of services, many companies also chose the Philippines because Filipinos are known for their keen knowledge in using and understanding the English language. The call center industry after Global Recession
Because most call center companies in the Philippines relied on their offshore outsourcing service, many call center companies have closed down due to global recession which resulted in many companies pulling out their outsourcing services. This led to many companies and agencies in the country to close down.

After global recession, only a handful of call center companies remained open, such as Magellan Call Center, which was due to their local outsourcing services such as their Business Answering Service. This allowed the company to survive in global recession. And today, Magellan Call Center have become one of the leading local call center companies in the Philippines along with many others.
