This question is a question that has been asked by people all over the world and will be for years to come. Why? Simply because there are just too many online scams out there and people struggle to differentiate between real opportunities and 'get-rich-quick' scams which most end up falling into. 

So, 'Can you honestly really make money online?' Definitely, if you know the correct methods.

The next question you need to ask yourself is this. 'How serious are you about making money online?' Not many people fully understand this question for a few simple reasons. Making money online is big business. It is a business that requires entrepreneurship and a lot of effort and time, if you are to be successful and build it into something you can be proud of. It is not about the short term and seeing quick results tomorrow. It requires vision and you must be willing to put 100% of yourself into your new venture. 

Doing research is part and parcel of this. Researching what products or affiliate programs you will be marketing, researching your competitors - where they stand or how they market, not to mention, how to build a website and what you will be writing on your sales page. Research will give you a lot of information you are not aware of. It will tell you what the market is like and how it functions. It will also help you make better decisions, informative decisions, not impulsive irrational, emotional ones, which can be unwise. That brings us to the next point, copywriting. 


Copywriting is the essence of it all. What you write will determine your sales page, your articles, advertisements which you will be posting and your email responses. Without copywriting, your business will cease to function. For those who find copywriting a struggle, always practice and practice. Without practice, you will not improve. It is only through  practice that you can polish your skills. 

A website with a domain name is also essential. It is the face of your online business, the 'store front' where people will browse and 'mingle'. Your website will need a company to host it, which won't cost much on a monthly basis. 

The next step is to get traffic to your websites. Why is traffic so important? Imagine this - if you have the best website with the best products or services, without traffic it is meaningless. People will not talk about them to their friends and their friends' friends. So, traffic is vital for your online business. There are many ways to increase traffic flow, which can be paid for, or even free of charge, if you know what you are doing.


Getting traffic is not a once off job. It requires continuous effort, everyday. You have to consistently advertise online so people will come to your website. The more people who visit your website, the greater the chance, potential buyers will click on the 'add to cart' button. 

Can you imagine starting a business that has no employees, overheads and little investment, and all the profits come to you only and no one else? That is the reason why so many people want to get involved with an online business. So, take that step and start your journey into online entrepreneurship.
