Learn How to master your Bloom phone’s camera for best shots
It’s true that camera phones have come a long way since their origination but still it is not necessary that the first shot will be
the perfect one. Agreed that they are different than traditional photography because they are light and easier to carry and fits in
your pocket and you can even share your pics but some basic rules of photography will remain the same.
Let us discuss them in this post
1 Keep the lens clean
It may sound silly but usually we don’t end up cleaning the lens and the camera lens is frequently touched unlike usual cameras which
frequently may lead to unclear pictures. So it is very important to keep your Bloom Mobile’s camera clean and dust free.
2 Check default camera settings
You can change the setting of your Bloom camera as per the location, light and other factors. Of course, tapping on where you want the
phone to focus on will give you a sharper focus on the subject, but the slight change in the settings can give better shots. For
example for white balance, it is best to match them according to the environment you are shooting to light up your photos better. For outdoor shooting choose cloudy or daylight option and for indoor shoots try using Fluorescent and Incandescent options
3 Make full use of Light
Yes, the light is the primary factor for any shot. The dull light will not give the best image. Focus on the object and light source.
The general rules on lighting are the same as it is in traditional photography – avoid back light when taking pictures of people
unless you want to go for the silhouette effect. The side light on the subject can give both texture and depth. Give a thumbs up to
practice for the best shot from your Bloom Smartphone
4 Decide where to use Flash
Flash play an important role when taking pictures in the dark. This is what we think. If you don’t have enough light to work with,
they can at least ensure that you get a picture, but it is not necessary to leave it on “auto” to make use of it even when it is not
needed. At times when the light is not enough still the images without can give good results. So always be ready to experiment. Try
taking a snap with flash on and one without if you’re ever in doubt. To experiment with images you can make some changes in Bloom phone settings to get the desired shot without the camera flash on.
5 Digital Zoom A big NO NO
It only ruins the sharpness of the picture and reduces the background. If you need to get closer to a subject, better try to step closer. If this is not possible then remember you can crop the image any time you want but once image is taken you cannot crop it upwards.
6 Stay focused
Whatever you set if the focus is not right you will never get the best shot. Before you hit the shutter, ensure that the subject is in
perfect focus. Don’t hesitate to give an extra second to settle the focus before you are ready to shoot. Also remember to keep your
hand and Bloom smartphone camera steady to avoid shaky images.
7 Change the Colour Level
Even after adjusting everything right, the image does not comes out to be in perfect colour. Try tweaking the colours settings on your
Bloom phone’s camera to get the right shot. Check the white balance right to avoid ghostly faces. If nothing much can be done to the
colour, then you can opt for black and white or sepia mode which can give the right image.
8 Keep the exposure right
Exposure means the amount of light hitting the camera sensor and its effect on the image brightness. Aperture, ISO , shutter speed ,
combination of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. A low light sensitivity will give the desired results when the exposure is well lit and vice versa. However, in low light situation, the image may be grainier that can be adjusted through ISO.
9 Don’t be afraid to experiment.
Always give a try with experimental shot. Let it be not the perfect shot but can give you better exposure of the Bloom smartphone camera options.
