The Federal Trade Commission says that your business could be robbed by a different kind of thief that doesn't "pack heat" but can still rob your business blind… with your cooperation! The Federal Trade Commission estimates that more than one in 10 Americans (perhaps as many as 30 million in this country) have fallen victim to click fraud. Your business isn't already included in that number if you haven't bought into pay-per-click bidding on keywords on the Internet's 3000+ traditional search engines in an attempt to get a higher ranking for your business' website.
Reports of the recent launch of a new online search "vehicle" (that does not employ pay-per-click bidding) will help keep American businesses safe from click fraud. This new online entity is a "members only" site that provides a level online playing field for American businesses of all kinds, sizes, and types (with the exception of porn sites and other adult-oriented businesses) making this truly a "family friendly" search vehicle that businesses can be proud to be associated with.
This site's utilization of a unique combination of geographic-targeting and keyword-criterion, along with the inclusion of online virtual print, audio, and video media to help member businesses lower or even eliminate traditional media advertising costs, has analysts giving it rave reviews.
The one factor analysts say will drive businesses to join is the fact that they only pay a one-time fee which is all-inclusive and is good for the life of their business, regardless of size. Member businesses are allowed to choose the geographic areas and descriptive keywords that they wish for their business' graphic (not just text) results listing to be found under when consumers search. A nationwide publicity campaign will soon alert consumers to its existence.
Currently, businesses in selected U.S. markets are being enrolled at introductory, discounted rates by the site's "Authorized Member Business Enrollers." Rates are expected to double following the publicity campaign launch. With a television ad in production that day is near, so now is the time for businesses to enroll so they be there when the television ad campaign begins.
This new online search vehicle can be found at www.clickspotz.com. I, for one, find the various listings both informative and entertaining with the musical audio spots. Some, like one of the BBQ restaurants, are hilarious, so check out this interesting site – but make sure your speakers are turned on or you will miss the best part.
