In a Network Marketing Business Copywriting Skills Are NOT an OPTION

Copywriting is the Million Dollar Skill. There are many different things a home based business owner can concentrate on but EVERY one of them will be more effective with copywriting skills.

The reason for this is, if you are in a home based business, direct sales, network marketing, MLM, Internet marketing or any other online business, you are in MARKETING and that means SALES.

Every single part of your business must be "sold." Your weakest link will determine the effectiveness of every marketing or advertising campaign you run. Your copywriting skills will dominate your marketability.

If your pay-per-click ads or article writing campaigns or classified ads or any other traffic generation methods you use are weak you won't get clicks on your links.

When you drive the traffic, it has to land somewhere and the destination better have great copy or you won't get any conversions, or visitors that opt-in to your list. If they are sent to a sales letter, you will get no sales without strong copy there.

Your business depends on sales and copywriting skills will determine your success. You won't even get them to LOOK at your site or letter without a great headline. Then you will have to convince them to keep reading with a subhead.

You have to give them reasons to buy from you or join you in business. Your copy must assure them your product is credible and will fulfill their desires.

Your copy will have to convince them the value of your offer far outweighs the price you are asking. It will also be important to make them believe there are no negatives associated with your product or service and you will have to convince them to take action NOW.

If it is an email, your copywriting skills start with the subject line and explaining why they need to even open the message. Then you have to WOW them with the first sentence or you lose them right there. Finally you have to make them want to take action in the body or the beginning will have been useless.

Even a training site for new distributors will need strong copy to convince them to get started right away. It will also have to show them the benefits of following the system and why they need to learn about the products.

You can take NOTHING for granted in marketing. Your copywriting skills and your ability to sell with words must be used in EVERYTHING you do and it never stops!

You have to take the approach that everyone you communicate with is a lazy couch potato and has to be convinced to pay attention to you and inspired to take action so they will receive a substantial benefit. You can't just ask or tell them to take action, you have to explain the benefits they will receive if they do.

One huge mistake network marketers make is they are sold on what they are doing and they keep doing the same things over and over and never realize that everybody else may not feel the same way and will have to be sold on doing each thing they do.

The definition of copywriting is "salesmanship in print" which is the ability to use written words to sell whatever you want to sell. It is different from radio, TV, the phone or in person because for them to see your message they have to find it and be interested enough to stay and read it.

If you are to achieve success in your business and true wealth you MUST have a way to leverage your time. Copywriting is the key to this leverage and it is a skill that is learned like any other skill.

If you want the ability to generate money at will you will have to learn this skill. Knowing the principles and mechanisms of how it works will also help you to communicate and recruit distributors with ease.
