W e now live in an era where viewing television on a standard television set is potentially a thing of the past for many people. With that in mind, a product called Satellite Direct has been launched which will provide TV viewing via the home computer (PC) but with the range of TV channels normally provided by cable or subscriber TV services.

The idea of Satellite Direct is to provide a selection of more than 3,500 high definition (HD) channels on your computer screen. Unlike cable TV, there are no ongoing monthly subscriber fees. There is no need to install hardware and no limits on bandwidth. Satellite Direct is also available 24 hours a day so there are no limits on viewing time.

Further investigation would suggest that this service is legitimate and no scam is involved. The rate of refund for the service appears to be very low at only 0.05 per cent. This is well below the refund rate on a scam product or service.

Two of the best things about this service are the price which at a one-time payment of around $US49.95 is very cheap and the easy set up time of about five minutes for the program. This compares more than favourably with standard cable TV installations requiring a large satellite dish and or cables and other equipment to be fitted to your home.

The process for signing up for the Satellite Direct deal is fairly easy. You are required to register as a member of the provider website where you submit the relevant details and pay. You then download the necessary software which can be done in minutes. The next procedure is to run the software and access the channels.

If you are a fan of TV viewing of a wide range of sports, movies and lots of international television shows, you may well be interested in signing up for this service.
