The key to beautiful skin for years to come is maintenance. Many people wait to start worrying about their skin when it is too late, and they have already experienced a fair amount of skin damage.

Skin damage can occur from the sun, lifestyle, exposure and more. The best way to ensure you have great skin for years to come is to start taking care of your skin at an early age. While it might be too late for some of us, we should use this knowledge that we now have to help those younger around us not make the same mistakes we did.

While everyone loves a good suntan (and looks great a golden brown), tanning is one of the worst things you can do for your skin. One of the best ways to prevent wrinkles is by avoiding the sun as much as possible. If you really need a tan (for that big date and what not) visit a sunless tanner instead - it is a much healthier alternative.

Always make sure you stay hydrated as well. Keeping your body hydrated will ensure your skin has plenty of moisture and will prevent wrinkles that are often caused by dry, under moisturized skin.

Use a great skin care product as well. Remember though, a good face cream is not an alternative to a healthy lifestyle. Instead they should be used in conjunction.
