How to Make Sure Your Home Based Business Paycheck is Secure

If your home based business is built right your company could change policies or fold and you would never miss a beat. The people who joined you in business did not join the company, they joined you and it is up to you to help them if your company fails.

In reality, the company is just a small part of your business and unless you have built your business with this in mind you could be out of business in the snap of a finger. You have a contract with your company and there probably is a clause that says they can change the rules whenever they want. That means someone else has complete control. You could also break a rule inadvertently and be disqualified.

If you truly owned your business you would have complete control over it and full ownership of your core asset, which is your downline. Since you control none of the rules of the company or your downline you own nothing. You may think you own your downline and you will earn commissions from it forever but in reality you are a commission based sales representative for a corporation.

Network marketing companies change their structure all the time. You could lose your whole business before you knew it. There are many things that could go wrong. Even an affiliate business or Ad sense can be lost in the blink of an eye if Google were to change their algorithms because your site will stop showing up on searches.

If any of that were to happen, your check would be gone and you would be back to broke. But there is a way to safeguard against this. You have to understand that your business is YOU. It is your name, your personality, your face, your words, energy and action. You create business through recruiting others, mentoring and solving problems for other people.

Since the value you provide to others and to a company is really a commodity that you can get paid for, there is no reason to let someone else control your business. It is YOUR business and you need to have complete control over how you run it and your relationship with your downline. You only become immune to outside influences and circumstances by promoting YOU. That means you promote yourself or the YOU brand.

Your projection of leadership is what attracts others to join you and your service to them is how your business grows so you may as well have control over all of it including your future. If you promote YOU and build your brand your business will stay together no matter what the company does. They could kick you out, shut their doors, or completely restructure and your business will be able to survive and move on easily and naturally if you have this simple concept in place.

There are four steps or rules to have in place to guarantee you will never lose your business due to the whim or greed of someone else. If you promote YOU as the real business and do these things your business will never disappear because the real equity will be in the relationships you are able to build.

1. You have to know what the problems are and have a solution for your prospects.

2. Be willing to give what you have or know without the expectation of getting anything in return.

3. Learn valuable skills that raises your value to others because you can show them how to use the tools that are available.

4. Through effective marketing and advertising, get your YOU brand in front of a massive amount of people.

People do business with those they like and trust. If you give solutions to people and build a relationship with them over time they will come to like and trust you. You can do this on a massive scale through technology with hundreds and even thousands of people if your learn proper marketing techniques and implement the principles of attraction marketing.
