How to Get Over an Ex - Pssh, That's Easy

Seriously, that's super easy; replace them with someone whom you have a deeper emotional connection with and an equal or stronger physical attraction to. How do you do that? Get out there and live... date, dirty dance in a night club... whatever floats your boat; pretty much anything that can lead to you meeting someone of the opposite sex.

Okay, article's over... well, not quite.

Before "replacing" your ex, you should ask yourself if that's somethin' you REALLY want to do. Seriously, think about it. If you're lookin' for ways to get over an ex then you obviously still have emotional or physical feelings for them. Don't look at me that way; I know it's true and so do you.

So now you've gotta' decide, do you want to put all that energy into getting over them or do you want to put it into getting them back? The reality of the situation is that less effort and energy goes into getting' 'em back... no joke home-skillet.

In some cases getting your ex back requires something so simple as an apology. Most people are afraid to say the words "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" because it makes them feel like they've failed, that they've lost "control" (both dudes and chicks like control and power, don't lie) or it bruises their ego. Well poor baby, if gettin' 'em back is what you want you're gonna' have to do it!

In more complex cases, it'll require a little more advanced knowledge of the human thought process. Most people think that super-lame tactics like smothering them to death with chocolates and flowers (or you know, other stuff if your ex is a dude... we don't like flowers ;)) is all it takes. But by doing that you're setting a standard, which they'll expect for the rest of the relationship (if they take you back). Unfortunately society has conditioned your (and the majority of the population's) minds to think that's the best alternative.
